BICEP LIVE

BICEP are coming to Oslo and Sentrum Scene on 4. mars 2027! They played to a sold-out, ecstatic crowd at Rockefeller in 2022, and we can’t wait to welcome Belfast’s hottest DJ duo back to the city. Their long-awaited new studio album, SLUG, is out on 29. januar – an 18-track work spanning the full breadth of the group’s musical DNA. BICEP consists of childhood friends Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar. They got started in earnest in London in 2009 with the blog «Feel My Bicep», created to collect and share their love of obscure disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno and Italo disco. In 2017, they signed to the prestigious record label Ninja Tune and released their self-titled debut album, Bicep. Critics immediately embraced the young duo, who reached number one on Amazon’s Best Electronic, the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart and the official UK charts. In 2021, they released their follow-up, Isles, which received two BRIT Award nominations in the categories «British Group» and «Breakthrough Artist». Hazlett

Australian singer-songwriter Hazlett has been attracting an ever-growing audience in Norway, and on Friday 5 March he returns to Oslo. This time he’s playing Rockefeller, after selling out Parkteatret the last time he performed in the city. In recent years, Hazlett has built a close connection with his Norwegian audience. When he first played in Oslo in 2024, he sold out the intimate Belleville Scene. Since then, more and more people have discovered the Australian artist’s melancholic and distinctive musical world, and in March he’s ready to take the stage at Rockefeller. Hazlett spent several years playing bars in his home country before a spontaneous trip to Sweden changed the course of his career forever. There, he met producer and songwriter Freddy Alexander, and the chemistry between them became the starting point for a musical style they describe as “indie ballroom folk”. Big emotions captured in small details, and songs that move between the intimate and the cinematic. His debut album, Bloom Mountain (2023), introduced Hazlett’s distinctive world to an international audience. Personal experiences of love, doubt and life’s small and large detours became melancholic, nostalgic stories, wrapped in warm acoustic instruments and atmospheric production. The Line of Best Fit has described Hazlett’s music as “a hazy, textured version of the classic singer-songwriter”. He has been compared to Ben Howard, Bon Iver and Novo Amor—a comparison we can readily get behind. Be sure to get your ticket soon! Tickets: kr. 360,- + bill.avg. 18+ age limit. Valid ID required. No guardian scheme. Valid ID includes a physical national ID card, passport, physical driving licence or bank card with a photo. Digital ID (digital driving licence or Bank-ID) and photos of ID are not accepted. The event has standing room. Doors open at 19.00. The event starts approximately one hour after doors open. Sunnan

Following their fantastic concert at Øya, Sunnan are coming back to Oslo! Sunnan is Cinema, Spaghetti Soul. The embodiment of a new genre: the feeling of a cinematic experience, a tribute to classic aesthetics and Morricone-inspired soundscapes. In 2026, Sunnan have continued to establish themselves as one of Sweden’s most talked-about new bands, with singles such as «Sail (Lady In Waiting)» and «I Need You». That same year, they received their third nomination for the Swedish Grammis awards, as well as a nomination for P3 Guld. With their unique sound and powerful live performances, Sunnan deliver a musical experience like no other. After a successful summer tour across the Nordic countries and Europe, they are now building towards their third studio album, «Spaghetti Soul», due for release on 9 October 2026. This is the beginning of a new cinematic journey. Sunnan consists of five strangers who met and came together through three unexpected events that coincided: a pandemic that created a space in time; the view from a gigantic panoramic window in a barn in Sunnanhed, which gave the members an irresistible cinematic perspective; and, finally, a chance encounter with a legend of Stockholm’s 1990s rave scene, who lived in the neighbouring house. They shared unorthodox instruments and eccentric philosophies, sparking the band’s creative foundations. The members, all well-established musicians and artists in the Swedish music industry, would never have found one another—or their sound—without these circumstances.

Fanny Avonne | Blå | Pres. av Luger

With her recently released, critically acclaimed debut album «Vad gör jag nu?» behind her, Fanny Avonne is heading out on tour. We’re looking forward to the concert at Blå in Oslo on 6 March! Tickets go on sale Wednesday 14 October at 10:00. Every so often, an artist comes along with a presence that’s impossible to resist. Fanny Avonne is one of them. But things could have turned out differently. At 17, the Stockholm artist left high school, signed a record deal and moved to Los Angeles. There, she discovered how dreams can be destroyed when they end up in someone else’s hands. Three years later, she returned to Sweden with her confidence at rock bottom, ready to start over. On «Vad gör jag nu?», her debut album, Fanny Avonne wrote the songs herself, co-produced the album and played much of the instrumentation. Anyone who has experienced losing creative control is unlikely to give it up willingly again. When Fanny Avonne makes the decisions, there are no easy formulas: jazz, bossa nova, folk, soul and pop flow into one another, carried by rich melodies and everyday-poetic lyrics that move through love and chaos with rare directness. Many first encountered Fanny Avonne through Tjuvjakts hugely popular «Tusen spänn», where her unmistakable chorus became the song’s emotional centre. This was followed by the acclaimed EP «Växtvärk», a Grammis award for Newcomer of the Year and now, finally, the debut album «Vad gör jag nu?». Its twelve songs explore the strange emptiness that can emerge when a difficult period is actually over: what happens when the chaos you’ve almost made part of your identity falls quiet? The result is an album that is as personal as it is musically rich, and has been praised for Fanny’s distinctive songwriting, arrangements and genre-crossing musicality. In the middle of it all, you can also hear her older sister, Felicia, whose uncompromising advice has made her something of a guide. Fanny has said that she hopes to become the same kind of big sister to her listeners. Next year, she’ll bring «Vad gör jag nu?» to Blå in Oslo! «Fanny Avonne impresses with her soulful debut album» – P3, Tina Mehrafzoon «Fanny Avonne dazzles with tasteful means» – Aftonbladet

Lucid Grave (DK) + Gloombound // Vaterland

Helvetes Indre Kretser presents: LUCID GRAVE (DK) + GLOOMBOUND Vaterland Lørdag 6. mars 2027 20:00 // 250.- + avg. // 20år ------------------------------ ------------------------------ LUCID GRAVE from Copenhagen blend dark atmospheres with irresistible melodies, where dark new wave, gothic rock and punk energy meet the sweaty freedom of an ’80s dance floor. The music is seductive, physical and uncompromisingly alive—built around strong melodies, atmosphere and the sense that something dangerous could happen when the lights go out. Lucid Grave have built a strong live presence in Copenhagen and shared the stage with international acts such as Deathchant, Witch, Tower and Horror Vacui, as well as playing festivals including Copenhell and A Colossal Weekend. Their forthcoming third album, NIGHTBLADE, will be released in December 2026, marking the beginning of a new era for Lucid Grave. The album depicts a world where desire, obsession, loneliness and violence merge and become impossible to separate. Musically, it brings together the band’s roots in doom and psychedelic rock with elements of gothic rock, new wave, punk, dark pop and disco. Lucid Grave formed around a shared love of dark music, strong visual expression and complete artistic freedom. The current line-up brings together people of different ages, cultural backgrounds, identities and life experiences. Trans and non-binary members play alongside musicians from very different communities, creating a band as diverse in its people as it is in its sound. For Lucid Grave, diversity is not a marketing ploy—it is an integral part of the band’s identity. The result is a tight-knit musical unit marked by a strong sense of identity, trust and creative freedom. For fans of: Bauhaus · Siouxsie and the Banshees · Killing Joke ----------------------- GLOOMBOUND was summoned through black curses and rituals of fate. With haunting leads and vile riffs, Gloombound carries you through an atmosphere that lifts you out of your current state and into a realm of pitch-black bliss. A cleansing that unfolds at a snail’s pace. From the void of outer space to damp, dark and gloomy cavernous soundscapes, where the guitar tones creep up and down the cave walls. ----------------------- Ticketmaster.no Vaterlandoslo.no Vaterland Bar & Scene, Brugata 9, 0186 Oslo

Chameleons

The legendary post-punk band Chameleons return to Oslo and Rockefeller on 7 March 2027! The cult band from Manchester is often regarded as one of the most underrated groups of the 1980s. They played in Norway for the first time in January 2025, when strong demand led the concert to be moved from John Dee to Rockefeller. Chameleons: The story of Chameleons began back in 1981, when the band was discovered by legendary BBC presenter John Peel. After their debut single “In Shreds” in 1982, the band released three groundbreaking albums. Script of the Bridge (1983) is considered by many to be a masterpiece far ahead of its time, while its follow-ups What Does Anything Mean? Basically! (1984) and Strange Times (1986) are also regarded as landmarks. The band broke up as early as 1987, but made a brief comeback in the early 2000s, releasing the album Why Call It Anything (2001). Over the years, the band’s popularity has only grown, leading them to share the stage with acts including U2, Killing Joke, Bauhaus, Simple Minds, Talk Talk and The Cure. Chameleons reunited in 2021 and now consist of original members Mark Burgess and Reg Smithies, along with Stephen Rice, Danny Ashberry and Todd Demma. They released Arctic Moon in 2025 – the band’s first full-length album of new studio material in over 20 years. “The music world is celebrating the return of Post-Punk pioneers, The Chameleons, and their first new music in over 20 years!” – Torched Magazine “The Chameleons, as any loyal fan will tell you to this day, rightfully belong in the discussion among the all-time great Manchester bands.” – Far Out Magazine “Manchester’s ultimate cult band the Chameleons’ gnarled angst and integrity remains intact.” – The Guardian Tickets: kr. 420,- + booking fee. 18+ event. Saint Etienne

The British pop trio Saint Etienne comes to Rockefeller on 10 March 2027 as part of their “Farewell European Tour”. After 35 years of distinctive British pop, electronica and club culture, the trio are embarking on their final European tour. Saint Etienne were formed in Croydon in 1990 by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs, and quickly attracted attention with their version of Neil Young’s “Only Love Can Break Your Heart”, which became a club favourite. With vocalist Sarah Cracknell, who made her debut on the 1991 single “Nothing Can Stop Us”, the trio found their distinctive sound at the intersection of indie pop, electronica and dance music. Their debut album Foxbase Alpha was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 1991, and its follow-up, So Tough, reached the UK album chart top ten. Since then, Saint Etienne have released 13 studio albums and built a distinctive catalogue that has made them one of the most prominent names in British pop. In September 2025, the band released International, their 13th and final studio album. The album was well received and reached the UK top ten. Dagny

After a summer of festivals featuring standout moments at Øyafestivalen and Bergenfest, and an extensive European tour this winter, Dagny returns to Norwegian stages in spring 2027. It will be her first tour in Norway since 2022, with eight concerts in Trondheim, Stavanger, Bergen and Oslo. The tour follows Dagny’s latest critically acclaimed album, *Dancefloor Erotica*, a fearless, dance-driven chapter from an artist who continues to push the boundaries of her own pop universe. Aftenposten gave the album a rating of 6 and wrote: “Here, Dagny shows that she is at the top of her game. In Norway, but also internationally.” “Not many albums have made such an impact this year. The reason is probably how she has combined the energy of her own musical interests with a clear joy in creating. A bullseye.” With more than 750 million Spotify streams alone and over one billion plays across streaming services, Dagny has long cemented her position as one of Norway’s biggest pop artists. From “Drink About”, “Somebody” and “Love You Like That” to “Backbeat”, “Wearing Nothing”, “Rain”, “Dancefloor Erotica” and “C’est La Vie”, she has built a repertoire full of big choruses and songs made to be experienced together. “I’ve been itching to go on a club tour in Norway again. This will be my first tour here at home since 2022, so I’m really looking forward to getting up close, singing together and making the whole evening a special experience! I’ll bring songs from «Strangers / Lovers», «Elle» and, not least, my latest album «Dancefloor Erotica». I hope to see you there!”, says Dagny. In 2023, Dagny filled Oslo Spektrum. In spring 2027, she’ll be closer to the audience again, with eight nights filled with dancing, singalongs and the infectious live energy she has become known for! -- Bill. kr. 549,- + bill.avg. 18+ age limit; valid ID required. Senjahopen

Senjahopen are a band who have been touring far and wide for nearly two decades. They play singalong-friendly rock that is as deadly as soap bubbles and as provocative as a child’s drawing. They have released a good stack of songs that more or less describe a life you either wish you were living or are glad you’ve escaped. And if you go home after a concert with this band without having enjoyed yourself, then you’re the one with a problem. No, there’s no need to be quite so blunt. But there’s no doubt that missing this concert would be like missing a proper serving of your mother’s very best meatballs. And you wouldn’t want that, would you? There’s a lot of talk about AI these days, and if artificial intelligence ever manages to invent such a solid serving of glorious mayhem, performed with such a reckless commitment to life, then there’s no doubt humanity is in danger. Bill. kr. 350,- + bill.avg. 18-year age limit. Valid ID required. No guardian arrangement. Valid ID means a physical national ID card, passport, physical driving licence or bank card with a photo. OLE KIRKENG & DAGSEDLARNA The next generation of Scandinavian country music is emerging. Among the artists making a name for themselves are Ole Kirkeng from Oslo and Dagsedlarna from Stockholm. In 2027, they’ll head out on a series of concerts together, and the first dates are being announced this week! Last year, Ole Kirkeng released the offbeat album Cowboy Lie Detector Machine, recorded with Amanda Bergman at Rockbonden in Dalarna. Dagny

After a festival summer with major moments at Øyafestivalen and Bergenfest, and an extensive European tour this winter, Dagny returns to Norwegian stages in spring 2027. It will be her first tour at home since 2022, with eight concerts in Trondheim, Stavanger, Bergen and Oslo. The tour follows Dagny’s latest critically acclaimed album, Dancefloor Erotica, a fearless, dance-driven chapter from an artist who continues to push the boundaries of her own pop universe. Aftenposten gave the album a six out of six rating and wrote: “Here, Dagny shows that she is at the top of her game. In Norway, but also internationally.” “Not many records have made such a strong impact this year. Ane Brun

Ane Brun sets out on an extensive Nordic tour this spring, with concerts in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The tour follows the release of her new studio album, I Thought We Were The Same, her first album of new material in six years. Transformation. Ane Brun’s musical journey is a textbook example of just that. When she made her debut around 20 years ago with the brilliant album Spending Time With Morgan, she was a talented performer of stripped-back acoustic indie folk. Today, Ane Brun has moved far beyond genres and labels. She has boldly explored everything from orchestral pop and electronic experimentation to heartrending interpretations and stripped-back, story-led piano music. Always with an unfiltered authenticity and uncompromising approach, she has become one of the most acclaimed artists in all of Scandinavia. With a unique position as both Sweden and Norway are home, she has received awards and acclaim on both sides of the border, including two Swedish Grammis awards for Best Alternative Pop Album and Composer of the Year, as well as several Norwegian Spellemann awards. The last time Ane Brun released a regular studio album was in 2020, when she put out the two remarkable records After The Great Storm and How Beauty Holds The Hand Of Sorrow. That does not mean she has been idle—in fact, quite the opposite. The past six years have been eventful. She has toured extensively, played festivals and completed two European tours. The most recent took place in 2023, when she celebrated 20 years as an artist. She also spent two seasons at GöteborgsOperan with the production 12 Songs, in which Kenneth Kvarnström interpreted her music with the opera’s orchestra and dance company, in a performance featuring choreography and grand stage design. There has also been plenty of music: Nærmere, an album featuring Norwegian versions of her own songs; the compilations Portrayals and Songs 2013–2023; and the live album 20th Anniversary Tour. During this period, she has also written and co-produced her first studio album of new material in six years. With the singles “Hand in the Fire”, “Two in This Story”, “Hold Me” and her latest release, the Röyksopp collaboration “Eat The Fruit”, Ane Brun turns the page and begins a new chapter in a musical journey spanning more than 20 years. The album I Thought We Were The Same revolves around trust and betrayal, both on a personal level and in a wider context, where trust is challenged in an era shaped by artificial intelligence, deepfakes and geopolitical instability. A few months after the album’s release, Ane Brun sets out on an extensive Nordic tour, with several stops in Sweden and Norway, as well as concerts in Helsinki and Copenhagen. The forthcoming album can be seen as a continuation of 2020’s After The Great Storm, with a bigger sound and a more pop-oriented approach taking centre stage. This sound will also be developed further on stage as Ane Brun invites audiences into her ever-changing musical universe. Tickets: Please note: This event has numbered seated tickets in the gallery and standing tickets in the main hall: — Standing (main hall) - kr. 650,- + booking fee — Numbered seating (gallery) - kr. 750,- + booking fee If the seated ticket category is sold out, no more seated tickets are available. Hvalfugl

A resonant musical presence, ambient sounds and strong melodies come together as the trio Hvalfugl takes the stage. Jonathan Fjord Bredholt’s elegant piano figures and spacious harmonium textures intertwine with Jeppe Lavsen’s crystalline guitar themes and Anders Juel Bomholt’s lilting double bass, creating both a sense of unity and a wealth of detail. Since their debut in 2017, the trio have established themselves as one of Denmark’s most distinctive instrumental groups, with a sound that moves freely between genres. Hvalfugl combine close interplay with dreamy ambient music and patiently unfolding musical passages, as beautiful melodies gradually open up for the listener. The trio consists of Jonathan Fjord Bredholt (piano and harmonium), Jeppe Lavsen (guitar) and Anders Juel Bomholt (double bass). Their interplay balances warm acoustic sounds with subtle use of effects, creating a distinctive musical expression that is both intimate and insistent. As a live band, Hvalfugl are known for their strong stage presence and ability to create a complete experience. The audience is invited into a musical universe of sublime beauty, where compositions intertwine into flowing, engaging sequences that move and delight. Their live performances were celebrated in 2025, when they received the «Årets Livenavn» award at DMA Jazz. Over the years, Hvalfugl have continued to develop their musical universe and explore new directions. Their first three albums – «By» (2017), «Som En Faldskærm» (2019) and «Øjeblikke Vi Husker» (2020) – laid the foundation for the dreamy, spacious sound that defines them. On the double LP «Bag Vore Øjne Strømmer Drømme Sagte Forbi» (2025), they bring together three years of work and several EP releases in a single work. Their curiosity and desire to experiment with new musical ideas and guest musicians add even more unique elements to the trio’s sound. Hvalfugl are a remarkably engaging live experience. Buffalo Traffic Jam

Buffalo Traffic Jam comes to Oslo and Rockefeller on March 30, 2027! Buffalo Traffic Jam is a folk band rooted in the heart of Bozeman, Montana, where members Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross first met as students at Montana State University. Brought together by a love of storytelling and the raw beauty of acoustic music, they began writing songs that evoke vast landscapes and the quiet emotions hidden beneath the surface of everyday life. The result was their self-titled debut EP, followed by the singles «Rescue Me» and «Forgot Your Roots». The latter gave the band their first viral breakthrough online and set the stage for rapid growth. Now Buffalo Traffic Jam are ready for their very first visit to Norway, where audiences can experience one of the most exciting new folk bands in the US — including fan favourite «Fool's Gold», which alone has been streamed more than 94 million times! The 2025 EP Take Me Home marked a turning point in the band's development. They expanded their musical sound while staying true to the honest songwriting and raw, acoustic sound that first caught listeners' attention. With themes of resilience, nostalgia and self-discovery, the release has helped the band surpass 240 million global streams. Although the band formed less than two years ago, Buffalo Traffic Jam convey an experience far beyond their years. Led by Frankie's distinctive vocals, their music has a raw, genuine emotional weight that deeply resonates with audiences. In a short time, they have sold out their first headlining tour within minutes, surpassed four million monthly Spotify listeners and earned recognition from publications including Rolling Stone, Holler Country, Country Central, Lowkey Country, American Songwriter, Ones to Watch and many others. The band have now released their first full-length album, Pictures of You. A raw and vulnerable portrait of growing up, the album explores the space between nostalgia and hope for what lies ahead. The Vernon Spring

In March, pianist, songwriter and composer Sam Beste brings his ethereal studio project The Vernon Spring to Parkteatret! The Vernon Spring is musician Sam Beste’s studio project. His musical career spans genres including jazz, soul, ambient and singer-songwriter. At the age of eleven, a chance piano lesson sparked his passion for musical improvisation and changed his life and career. Beste’s dedication and talent caught the attention of artists including Amy Winehouse, whom he accompanied as a pianist for most of her career. Their collaboration laid the groundwork for several significant and wide-ranging collaborations, including with Kendrick Lamar producer Sounwave, Joy Crookes, and MF DOOM. After several years of writing songs and releasing music under the alt-soul alias Hejira in his mid-twenties, Beste co-founded the record label Lima Limo. There, he found the supportive community and inspiring creative foundation he needed to release solo music as The Vernon Spring. His debut EP and subsequent releases, including the critically acclaimed «A Plane Over Woods», «Earth», «On A Good Day» and most recently «Under a Familiar Sun», have established The Vernon Spring’s signature sound: ethereal piano layered with emotive vocals and subtle electronics. - Listen (https://tidal.com/artist/16703156/u) Vetle Nærø The rising pianist and composer Vetle Nærø is regarded as one of the most promising new voices in contemporary classical music. Combining raw emotion, meditative calm and subtle musical depth, he creates music that moves, challenges and invites listeners into an inner space. In recent years, Nærø has performed at venues including The National Gallery in London and Rough Trade in Berlin, as well as at numerous concerts in Oslo and his hometown of Ålesund.
