Britpop veterans Kula Shaker are coming to Vulkan Arena in Oslo on Sunday 7 March.
The band formed in London in the 1990s, fronted by Crispian Mills. They broke through in 1996 with their debut album «K», which went straight to the top of the UK charts. Songs such as «Tattva», «Hey Dude» and «Govinda», along with a cover of Deep Purple’s «Hush», made them one of the most distinctive names in the Britpop wave.
Their music blends British guitar rock with 60s psychedelia and Indian influences such as sitar and tabla. The combination was unusual at the time and remains Kula Shaker’s signature sound today.
In January 2026, the band released the album «Wormslayer». It shows that they still have plenty to say, three decades after their breakthrough.
Now Kula Shaker are coming to Oslo with both new songs and classics from the 90s!
