Buffalo Traffic Jam comes to Oslo and Rockefeller on March 30, 2027!

Buffalo Traffic Jam is a folk band rooted in the heart of Bozeman, Montana, where members Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross first met as students at Montana State University. Brought together by a love of storytelling and the raw beauty of acoustic music, they began writing songs that evoke vast landscapes and the quiet emotions hidden beneath the surface of everyday life.

The result was their self-titled debut EP, followed by the singles «Rescue Me» and «Forgot Your Roots». The latter gave the band their first viral breakthrough online and set the stage for rapid growth.

Now Buffalo Traffic Jam are ready for their very first visit to Norway, where audiences can experience one of the most exciting new folk bands in the US — including fan favourite «Fool's Gold», which alone has been streamed more than 94 million times!

The 2025 EP Take Me Home marked a turning point in the band's development. They expanded their musical sound while staying true to the honest songwriting and raw, acoustic sound that first caught listeners' attention. With themes of resilience, nostalgia and self-discovery, the release has helped the band surpass 240 million global streams.

Although the band formed less than two years ago, Buffalo Traffic Jam convey an experience far beyond their years. Led by Frankie's distinctive vocals, their music has a raw, genuine emotional weight that deeply resonates with audiences. In a short time, they have sold out their first headlining tour within minutes, surpassed four million monthly Spotify listeners and earned recognition from publications including Rolling Stone, Holler Country, Country Central, Lowkey Country, American Songwriter, Ones to Watch and many others.

The band have now released their first full-length album, Pictures of You. A raw and vulnerable portrait of growing up, the album explores the space between nostalgia and hope for what lies ahead. All signs point to another career-defining year for the guys from Bozeman.
