Svart Ridå

Svart Ridå are a prominent part of the new wave of Swedish indie rock, which has reached an even wider audience over the past year. Known as an uncompromising and explosive live band, they return to John Dee on 10 March 2027!

Svart Ridå deliver noisy guitar solos and catchy pop choruses alongside introspective, dark lyrics. They released their second studio album, Aponia, in 2025, to widespread critical acclaim. They also released a fantastic interpretation of Kent’s «Om du var här» as part of Spotify’s «Singles» series.

While preparing their third studio album, the band will release the single «Gränsen till undergång» on 9 October!
