Saul Williams

Poet, musician, actor and director Saul Williams comes to Parkteatret in March 2027 with his new tour, «The Leap Life Album Tour».

For almost three decades, Williams has held a unique position in Black cultural history, consistently breaking genre conventions across music, literature and film. He appeared in «Sinners», which received a record number of Oscar nominations, co-wrote and starred in the Sundance- and Cannes-winning film «SLAM», and directed «Neptune Frost».

His new album «Leap Life» is his first full-length album in seven years, named after his own leap-day birthday. The album moves between spoken word, jazz, hip-hop and ceremonial sound, with contributions from, among others, Carlos Niño, Robert Del Naja (Massive Attack), Moor Mother and Kamasi Washington.
