Club Kid

A heartwarming charmer about a queer party animal who suddenly discovers he has a ten-year-old son. It’s always exciting when new talent enters the film world, especially when a first-time director hits the mark on their debut. With CLUB KID, Jordan Firstman has achieved what Charlotte Wells did with AFTERSUN: creating a surprising and moving first film that people will be talking about for years to come. Firstman stars as Peter, a gay club promoter who has seen better days. His party habits from his twenties have stuck around as he approaches forty, and his appetite for party drugs has long since reached self-destructive proportions. When the ten-year-old son he never knew he had suddenly turns up at his door, Peter has to learn what it means to live for someone other than himself. CLUB KID is a life-affirming charmer that shows how care and consideration can heal all wounds. It’s also a fresh buddy comedy that strikes a chord with millennials. Harder socioeconomic circumstances than those faced by previous generations can make it difficult for this age group to enter adulthood, leaving many stuck in a kind of Peter Pan existence (the main character’s name is no coincidence). Director Firstman’s aim, however, is less to judge the protagonist and those in a similar situation than to portray how caring for others can teach you to care for yourself. TeaTime med Vanja

The book club and writing! Are you interested in books and writing? For ages 13 to 23! TeaTime is our little club for young adults and teenagers! Whether it’s a book you read when you were little, a year ago or last week, you don’t need to prepare anything, and there are no expectations of you — except that you’re ready to chat freely and laugh. If the conversation doesn’t get going, we’ll have some interesting topics ready to get us thinking. For example: What’s the most intense death you’ve read about in a book? What’s a sentence you’ve read that still comes to mind from time to time? Which book has actually made you laugh out loud? Everyone will then share which book (and scene) they thought of. We’ll hear about each other’s books, the worst books we’ve read, and the best ones. On top of that, GOLDEN HOUR is now part of TeaTime. It’s the writing club from last year. I LOVE writing. Do you like writing? Do you have something on your mind? Come and sit down with us to write (I’ll be writing too). Whether it’s for 5 seconds, 15 minutes, 38, 59, or a whole hour, you can write for as long as you like. You can chat about writing, get a few writing tips, write with others, or sit undisturbed in a corner. There will, OF COURSE, be tea, biscuits and hot chocolate. You’re welcome to hang out for as long as you like. After all, it’s just TeaTime.

Dungeons and Dragons jump-in kampanje

Sembia is found in central Faerûn and it is a country of rolling farmland, wooded hills, rivers and prosperous towns. It has always been a merchants land of opportunity with a mild climate. In recent history Ordulin was destroyed by a vortex of shadow magic. This vortex has since been dispelled - the city of Ordulin free to be rebuilt! However the land hasnt been explored in quite a while, and the dark magic has seeped into the land itself covering it in heavy, dark fog. Welcome to our Dungeons and Dragons campaign! You don’t need any prior experience to join, and this isn’t a commitment-based campaign. In other words, you can join whenever you like without it having any consequences for you or your character. The idea is for players to work together on quests to improve the main city. Each time you show up, you’ll be placed in a new group and given a new quest for the day. Everyone levels up together, based on the city’s own level. We play in English, but one of the tables may be run in Norwegian if requested. A little practical information: We play DND 5e, not 5.5e, and everyone starts at level 3. You can create your own character or choose a pre-made one. If you create your own character, it’s important to use “point-buy” or “standard array”, not choose a background that gives “feats”, and either take “fixed health” increases or roll for hit points in front of our DMs. Otherwise, everything is allowed; you can also “multi-class” from the start. To join, you need to sign up in the post we share on Discord a few days before the event. You’ll find the link by clicking the “sign up” button. Places are limited, so it’s first come, first served. If you don’t want to get Discord, you can email us or simply show up on the day and see if there are places available. Each event has around 11–18 places, and we’re working to increase the number. Due to the themes and content of this campaign, it is for ages 18+.

Ingvild Flottorp

In October, Nordicana star Ingvild Flottorp releases her third album. In January, she celebrates with a release concert at Parkteatret! Ingvild Flottorp from Åmli burst onto the scene in 2021, seemingly out of nowhere, with her debut album «It All Seems So Clear», and took the Nordicana scene by storm. With youthful drive, catchy songs and a distinctive voice, she immediately stood out from the crowd. Just a year after her debut came the follow-up «I Just Wanna Know It All», which was nominated for the Spellemannprisen. In May 2024, she released the album «In This For a Lifetime» — a duo project with guitarist Øyvind Blomstrøm. Dagsavisen called the duo a «supergroup», while Morgenbladet described the album as a refreshing breath of Nordic cool. In autumn 2025, Ingvild released the EP «Songs From Behind», which Gaffa said was enough to make her a mainstay of the acoustic scene. On 30 October 2026, Ingvild Flottorp releases her third solo album on Mother Likes It Records. The album is largely about the connections between life and the power to create, hence the title «Makers». The release will be celebrated at Parkteatret with a full band featuring: Sigmund Vestrheim on drums, Tobias Flottorp Heltzer on bass, Øyvind Blomstrøm on guitar and pedal steel, and Mathias Tveit Hammersmark on guitar. Nyttårspunk

Nyttårspunk with Laarhöne at John Dee has become as much a New Year’s tradition as fireworks and broken resolutions! On Friday 8 January, we kick off 2027 with the same routine as every year. This time, Laarhöne are joined by The Gratitudes and Sweden’s Spøgelse! The Gratitudes began as a pure gratitude project, hence the name, and features well-known musicians from bands including Kosmik Boogie Tribe, Backstreet Girls, De Press, Cockroach Clan and Suzy Dahl. Since forming in 2022, the band has released several singles and the EP Beans. With the song “Degenerates Are Back”, they deliver melody-driven power pop, heavy guitar riffs and touches of both boogie and prog. From Sweden’s west coast, Spøgelse invite you to dance your way into chaos with their notorious blend of drunk'n'roll and hardcore punk. It’s full throttle from start to finish, with fast songs, raw energy and a live show where anything can happen. All go, no slow! Tickets: kr. 330,- + booking fee. 18+ age limit. ID required. No guardian scheme. Valid ID must be a physical national ID card, passport, physical driving licence or bank card with a photo. Orgivm Satanicvm VI

The only proper way to start the year is with a serious dose of darkness—and 2027 will of course begin with the sixth edition of the festival that has become a tradition for black metal fans from all over the world: Orgivm Satanicvm! Get ready for two days featuring some of the very best the genre has to offer—hand-picked with the aim of delivering something truly unique to the audience. ULVESANGER (NO) Ulver’s first three releases, «Bergtatt», «Kveldssanger» and «Nattens Madrigal», have achieved legendary status, and 2027 marks 30 years since this trilogy was completed. At the time, however, the band did not perform live, and by the time they became a live act, Ulver had changed musical direction several times. As a result, most of this material has never been performed live. Now the opportunity has finally arrived. The band will feature some of the finest musicians from the Black Metal scene, including some very special guests. Details will be announced later, but we can guarantee a generous dose of bewitching Norwegian Black Metal magic! NORDJEVEL (NO) Exclusive album performance with several guests on stage! Since forming in 2015, Nordjevel have grown into an increasingly formidable band, delivering masterful, razor-sharp aggressive Black Metal that ticks every box: uncompromising, crushingly heavy, and packed with a cascade of breathtaking riffs. What the band’s founder Doedsadmiral and his bandmates Destructhor (Myrkskog, ex-Morbid Angel etc.), Sagstad (Jordsjuk, Trollfest etc.) and John Longstreth (Hate Eternal, Origin etc.) deliver is as stylistically pure as it gets within the genre, in the very best sense of the word. The band will release their fourth album this winter, and to mark the occasion they will give a very special performance at Orgivm Satanicvm, playing the new record in its entirety along with some old classics. This will be Nordjevel’s first concert in Norway since 2024, and they have promised some very special surprises in the form of guests who will make this concert firmly one of those experiences you won’t want to miss! FEN (UK) The masters of atmospheric and mysterious Anglo-Black Metal play their first concert in Norway since 2017. We are proud to welcome the English Black Metal band Fen back to Norway for the first time in ten years. The band comes from the mysterious, flat marshlands of East Anglia, known as «The Fens», and the trio have masterfully woven the essence of their home region into their music. Formed in 2006, they set out to combine Black Metal’s cold fury with more reflective elements, drawing inspiration from their windswept and desolate region to create an intense, atmospheric sound shaped by loss and melancholic longing. Their forthcoming album, «Elemental (Part 1: Mourning Earth)», due for release on Prophecy Productions later in 2026, builds on the band’s previous releases. Fans of bands such as Agalloch, Winterfyleth, Wolves in the Throne Room and Afsky, to name a few, may find themselves with a new favourite band after seeing Fen live. ASKEREGN (NO) Norwegian band Askeregn remain one of the scene’s best-kept secrets, but both of the band’s albums on the eminent Terratur Possessions are masterpieces that deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as their labelmates Misotheist, Issolei and Mare, among others. As you might expect, this is pitch-black and monumental Black Metal, with dissonant riffs, powerful builds and a wonderfully unsettling atmosphere. It is as uncompromising as it is complex, and its music appeals equally to old-school purists and more adventurous listeners. Although it has been 15 years since they released their first demo, they have played very few concerts, so it is a privilege to see the band on the Orgivm stage in January! Valid ID is required at all our events. We accept physical ID only (passport, ID card or driving licence).

Blessings (SE) + Tom B. (NO) // Vaterland

Blessings (SE) + Tom B. Fredag 08. januar 20:00 // 250 (+avg) // 20år Swedish band Blessings mercilessly take whatever they want from hardcore, punk, crust, noise rock, heavy post- and indie rock. They offer moments reminiscent of At The Drive-In, and others that might bring Converge to mind—sometimes even in the same song. The Gothenburg quartet fuse their influences into a varied collection of elements from heavier guitar music, creating a cohesive, exciting and idiosyncratic sound. On their latest album, «Blodsträngen», Blessings have fine-tuned their dissonant sound while casting a wide net for new twists and experimental influences: a disparate collection of eccentricities that the band somehow manages to draw together into something cohesive, captivating and empowering. The message behind the music is open to interpretation, inviting audience participation. Ultimately, what matters is the community that grows when dizzyingly loud music is performed in a room. «Dette er historien om Tom. Tom er død.» Tom B. is a Norwegian art project developed through visual and musical elements, with the aim of recreating and telling Tom’s story. On 08.01.2027, «Apparition #1» will see part of the soundtrack to a life story performed and experienced live on stage for the first time. The first single, «Bag Of Bones», will be released digitally via Elevator Records on 23.10.2026.

Orgivm Satanicvm VI

The only proper way to start the year is with a healthy dose of darkness — and 2027 will naturally begin with the sixth edition of the festival that has become a tradition for black metal fans from across the globe: Orgivm Satanicvm! Get ready for two days showcasing some of the very best the genre has to offer — hand-picked with the aim of delivering something truly unique to the audience. DØDHEIMSGARD (NO) – Exclusive extended «Black Medium Current» set! Black metal innovators Dødheimsgard hardly need an introduction. Since 1994, they have redefined the genre, broken most of its rules, and become pioneers of avant-garde black metal. In 2025, the band’s alter ego Doedsmaghird played its only concert to date at Orgivm Satanicvm. Now that success is set to be surpassed as Dødheimsgard perform the brilliant and acclaimed album «Black Medium Current» in its entirety, with an expanded lineup — something they have done only once before, at Roadburn in 2025. Vicotnik and the others have promised us a magical experience, so expect goosebumps and tears from an enthralled audience! MORTEM (NO) Exclusive Norwegian show — 40 years of Norwegian darkness! In 2027, Mortem celebrate 40 years since their formation, and they’ll kick off the anniversary year at Orgivm Satanicvm VI. This crew of hardened black metal veterans released a single demo in 1989, with Euronymous and Dead from Mayhem behind the scenes, before disbanding until 2018. The following year — 30 years after the demo — they finally released their debut album, and their second full-length, «Mørketid», is due out in July. Once again, they deliver furious, monumental, atmospheric and technically impressive, precise black metal, with the masters actually outdoing themselves. AVRAK (NO) The first-ever festival performance by the new band featuring veterans Ted «Nocturno Culto» Skjellum and Anders Hegna! Avrak was formed in November 2023, when Ted Skjellum (Darkthrone, Sarke, among others) and Anders Hegna (Nød, El Kayenne, Svidd Grevling) came together to see what they could create musically. After five days, the first songs were ready. A few weeks later, they brought in Terje Kråbøl (Gjendød, Sarke, Faustcoven) on drums, and the lineup was later completed by bassist Steinar Gundersen (Khold, Sarke, Satyricon). In the meantime, they have recorded their debut album with Knut Magne Valle (Arctrurus, Ulver, The Kovenant) at the controls. It is due out this autumn. Avrak made their live debut to a packed house earlier this year, and when they make their very first festival appearance at Orgivm Satanicvm VI in January, expect a just-tight-enough display of heavy metal, with elements of doom, classic hard rock and a dash of black metal. No theatrics, just four guys playing metal! ABDUCTION (UK) Abduction were formed in Derby in 2016 and have since released five albums. Along the way, they have undergone a musical evolution, moving from a relatively classic black metal sound to a more varied style that blends raw black metal with progressive, experimental and post-black-metal-inspired elements. Their previous album, the masterpiece «Existentialismus», has received favourable comparisons to bands such as Mgła, Deathspell Omega and Spectral Wound. Performances at festivals including Fortress and Winds of Agony have shown that they deliver live with all the hypnotic, icy intensity you could hope for. In January, they will take the stage in Norway for the very first time, and we guarantee an unforgettable experience! Valid ID is required at all our events. We accept physical ID only (passport, ID card or driving licence).

Holly Humberstone

Known for her precise songwriting, Holly Humberstone has grown into a global artist whose clear, penetrating storytelling reaches far beyond her own world. In April 2026, she released her second album, «Cruel World», stepping into a dark fairytale universe where childhood memories, monsters and imagination collide. Holly’s story began with her breakthrough EP «Falling Asleep At The Wheel», which introduced a young artist who turned growing up in a home haunted by ghosts and life with two sisters into vivid, unforgettable songs. The intimacy and precision of her lyrics established her as a kind of diarist of the small details that hold big emotions. Her voice soon took her from her Gothic childhood home to the international stage: she performed «London Is Lonely» live for millions during the BRIT Awards in 2022, toured North America as support for Olivia Rodrigo and Girl in Red, and released her critically acclaimed debut album «Paint My Bedroom Black» in 2023. After a sold-out European tour and a series of smaller shows and special appearances in the UK, Holly Humberstone’s «Cruel World» era is now unfolding on stages around the world. Several headline shows in the UK and US have already sold out, and her momentum continues with major festival appearances at Coachella, Governors Ball and Mad Cool, among others. In recent years, she has also sold out Brixton Academy and Eventim Apollo, headlined tours in North America, opened for Taylor Swift at Wembley, and toured Australia with Sam Fender last year. «Cruel World» was written with a new sense of discipline through daily studio sessions with collaborator Rob Milton, drawing inspiration from love in its many forms: romantic, platonic and feminine. Having grown up surrounded by strong women, Holly explores how girls are often taught to see one another as competitors, and how this can be unlearned so that solidarity can be reclaimed as a necessity. Listen to Holly Humberstone: https://tidal.com/artist/18044983/u Physical ID is required at all our events. We accept physical identification only (passport, ID card or driving licence). The concert is presented by Luger Norge. This concert has been moved from September 2026 to 10 January 2027. Tickets already purchased are valid for the new date. Påfyll: Terje Tvedt 13. januar 2027

How did Norway become the country it is today? And what about the Akerselva river? Terje Tvedt will try to condense 11,000 years into just under an hour! By looking at Norway’s history over the long term and placing it in a global historical context, Terje Tvedt brings out unknown but central and fascinating features of the country’s history. In Norges historie. Med verden som speil, Terje Tvedt presents a new understanding of Norway’s history, from the Ice Age to the present day. Driven by curiosity, the courage to challenge accepted truths and the ability to see long-term trends, he has succeeded in writing an original and coherent account in a single volume. Tvedt also broadens the perspective by drawing on different ways of thinking and geography, and using global history as a mirror. The book therefore also places Norway’s history within world history. It will interest anyone curious about Norway’s past, how Norway today can be named the world’s most prosperous and democratic country, and where the country is headed. Terje Tvedt is a professor of global history, political science and development studies, as well as an author and documentary filmmaker. He is considered one of Norway’s most prominent and influential non-fiction writers. The event is free. No registration required. Light refreshments will be served. Hederos & Hellberg // Kafé Hærverk

Hederos & Hellberg at Kafé Hærverk | 13. januar. A unique opportunity to hear Hederos & Hellberg in Oslo at Kafé Hærverk. The duo rarely performs, and their concerts are always a musical experience not to be missed. Martin Hederos and Mattias Hellberg have built up an almost cult following in the Scandinavian music scene over more than two decades. Their self-titled debut album from 2000 was acclaimed for its stripped-back and distinctive interpretations of songs by, among others, Velvet Underground, Mink De Ville and Bob Dylan, carried by Hederos' expressive piano playing and Hellberg's characteristic voice. The album is still regarded as a modern Scandinavian cult classic. For Oslo audiences, this visit is also a little homecoming. “Oslo has always been close to our hearts, ever since Nymphet Noodlers’ wild concerts in the 90s at wonderful clubs like Last Train, Tutankhamon and Mono, among others. Hederos & Hellberg have also played much quieter, but just as cool, concerts at some of those same clubs. Now it’s time to return to Oslo, to a venue that’s new to us: the intimate, welcoming and great-sounding Kafé Hærverk. We’re really looking forward to it. We don’t play that often anymore, so this will be a little exclusive.” Since reuniting, Hederos & Hellberg have once again captivated audiences with their distinctive blend of folk, rock, blues and poetic melancholy. Kanaan

In 2026, Kanaan celebrates 10 years as a band with its tenth album, simply called Kanaan. It felt natural for the album to be self-titled, given that it is built on the very solid musical foundation the band has created over a decade. And that foundation rumbles loudly. With Kanaan, we’re approaching earthquake territory. On their grand and eclectic new album, Kanaan digs even deeper into the different styles that together have shaped their music. The melodic passages are highly hummable, the psychedelic sections are more out there, and the retro, analogue sounds are vintage and unpolished. And when it comes to riffs, there’s been no slimming down here: they’re heavier than ever. Although the band is constantly evolving, the distinctive Kanaan sound that has emerged over time is still very much intact. The band says the album celebrates everything they have achieved musically and artistically so far — as well as everything they have experienced and accomplished as close friends who play together. The band members have grown up (a little), but their musical curiosity, creativity and drive to create are as strong as ever. Their desire to immerse themselves in the music in the studio — day and night, playing, jamming, composing and truly living inside it — is still there. They describe their studio stay at Athletic Sound in Halden as a kind of black hole where the only things that existed were the band, engineer Dag Erik Johansen and the music. Kanaan’s members are busy enough with frequent touring and annual album releases. Still, they find time for a host of other projects on the side. The trio also comes together in the larger ensemble Full Earth, where they play music written by drummer and composer Ingvald André Vassbø. Vassbø also plays in the experimental psych/free-jazz project Sex Magick Wizards and has filled in with Motorpsycho in recent years. Bassist Eskild Myrvoll plays furious bass in the hardcore band Daufødt and, until recently, in the extreme metal band Blodkvalt, while guitarist Ask Vatn Strøm played lively, groove-filled, jazz-influenced indie with ¡BangBang Watergun! for a long time, as well as blues in Soft City. Ask is still active as lead guitarist in the dreampop band Cloud Cuckoo. Together, these side projects make up a highly eclectic mix that shows the musicians’ versatility and hints at where Kanaan’s inspiration comes from. Kanaan is released on Jansen Records on 16 October 2026. -- Tickets: kr. 310,- + booking fee. 18+ age limit. Valid physical ID required. No guardian scheme. Donkeyboy

The Donkeyboy concert at Sentrum Scene on 16 January is already sold out, but don’t worry – there will be an extra concert on Friday 15 January! When the concert at Rockefeller in March sold out in just a few minutes, Donkeyboy confirmed what audiences already know: this is a band people want to see live. Classics like «Ambitions», «Sometimes», «City Boy» and «Crazy Something Normal» have provided the soundtrack to countless memories. With their big choruses, driving synth lines and infectious energy, the band has carved out a unique place on the Scandinavian pop scene. At the heart of Donkeyboy are brothers Cato Sundberg and Kent Sundberg, alongside Peter Michelsen and Thomas Drabløs. As always, the lineup will be expanded with more musicians, and there may also be a few surprises along the way. Hjerteslag

Hjerteslag at Vulkan Arena on 15 January 2027! Ever since their beginnings in Bergen’s underground scene, Hjerteslag have been one of the country’s very best and most popular rock bands. With vocalist Robert Eidevik’s unmistakable, distinctive songwriting and lyrical style at their core, the band have helped shape melodic, noisy and street-poetic music in Norwegian. In 2026, the band released their sixth album, «Vi har kommet for å stjele dine barn». The album has received rave reviews, including from Popklikk, who write: «Robert Eidevik is clearly made of star material and has an indomitable will to deliver time and again, combined with a unique ability to stumble upon the catchiest melodies and the toughest song titles. On «Vi har kommet…», Hjerteslag sound more Swedish than ever, letting Nordic post-punk ring out. In a good way.» With the comeback album Tyvens Dagbok and the subsequent tour in autumn 2022, Hjerteslag reclaimed their position as one of the country’s leading rock bands. At the same time, frontman Robert Eidevik entered what he describes as a new phase of life, reflecting on life far more than before and revisiting old stories from his childhood. He wrote song after song in a whirlwind, and suddenly another Hjerteslag album was ready, in record time. On Betonglandskap, released in 2024, Robert built a lyrical world around growing up among concrete apartment blocks in a slightly rundown, noisy suburb outside Bergen. The lyrics draw on his own experiences and reflections, but also tell stories that others can relate to. The songs also express a desire to give a voice to those on the margins of society: people struggling on the streets, and those facing addiction and mental illness. These are stories about finding your place alone in the world, caught up in all your differences.

Ozlofest vol.2 // Vaterland

Ozlofest Vol. 2 Lørdag 16. Januar 19:00 // 350.- + avg. // 20år Oslo’s underground scene celebrates the life of Ozzy Osbourne. Join us! Lineup: Bong Voyage, Dunbarrow, Draken, Håkjerring and Magmakammer BONG VOYAGE, pronounced [Båhngærn] among fans, is a supercharged supergroup of broad-shouldered hedonists from Oslo’s underground scene. The mischief-makers Bong Jovi, Spliff Burton, Skækk Wylde, John Bongham and Abuse Springsteen guarantee a party atmosphere and plenty of raised bottles. Step into the astral haze and smell the post-party sweat—lose yourself in the night and indulge in a freshly made riff cabaret. Call a friend, buy ten thousand beers, use your last self-certified sick day and give in to peer pressure. DUNBARROW is a band that has spent a decade forging its own distinctive sound in heavy rock. Inspired by rough demo tapes from the 1970s and Swedish throwback rock from the 2000s, Dunbarrow crafts hard-hitting songs with a subtlety that can both captivate and surprise. DRAKEN is a three-headed heavy rock monster with a unique sound. Since forming, the band has reinvented classic heavy rock and metal with a modern twist. With downtuned guitars, massive riffs and a wall of sound, Draken aims to convey what is real and natural about rock: raw energy, musical weight and songs that tear at the soul. HÅKJERRING is an audio-creative organism based in the northernmost part of the Oslofjord. Musically, Håkjerring has been a progressive stoner-rock salad, but just as the fjord it lives in is becoming increasingly murky, so is Håkjerring’s music. MAGMAKAMMER serves up unpolished psychedelic rock with heavy riffs, catchy melodies and 1970s vibes. The band has made a name for itself in the stoner and doom scene at home and abroad with its raw, DIY production. Ticketmaster.no Vaterlandoslo.no

We’ll hear about each other’s books—the worst books we’ve read, and the best ones. On top of that, GOLDEN HOUR is now part of TeaTime. This is the writing club from last year. I LOVE writing. Do you like writing? Do you have something on your mind? Come and sit down with us and write (I’ll write too). Moyka

Moyka is a Bergen-based electronic pop artist whose sound balances melancholic depth with irresistible dancefloor energy. Since her 2019 debut, she has steadily built a distinctive musical universe driven by hypnotic beats, razor-sharp melodies and intimate vocals at its heart. Often described as a hidden gem, Moyka has emerged as one of Norway's most compelling pop artists with international potential. Her breakthrough came quickly, earning her a nomination for the prestigious Anchor Award at Reeperbahn Festival in 2019. Her debut album, The Revelations of Love, received international praise from Billboard, CLASH, PopJustice and NOTION, which named her a "One to Watch" in collaboration with Amazon Music UK. Since then, Moyka has supported Sigrid on tour, played major Norwegian festivals such as Øya, Bergenfest and Slottsfjell, and brought her music to clubs and festival stages across Europe. Her second album, Movies, Cars & Heartbreak (2023), marked a new chapter, earning further acclaim from The Line of Best Fit, Notion and Billboard, and leading to two European tours spanning London, Berlin, Germany, Switzerland and Norway. The album cemented Moyka's reputation as a powerful live act, with her festival seasons growing steadily larger year by year. In 2025, Moyka entered a new phase of international momentum. Nominated for "Breakthrough of the Year" and "Sync of the Year" for placements in the Netflix hit Young Royals, she launched her first Scandinavian tour and delivered standout festival performances at Palmesus, By:Larm, Mablis and Fluxbau in Berlin. The long-awaited single 24/7 surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams in its first week, followed by Fluorescent and Headlights, completing the Ultraviolet EP. That same year, Moyka expanded beyond Europe for the first time, playing three successful shows in Mexico City to an intensely engaged audience—a clear sign of her rapidly growing international fanbase. Described by Scandipop UK as "dark at its core, yet radiating a dazzling light that pulls you in and won't let go," Moyka is heading into 2026 with new music and undeniable momentum.

PERMANOIA from Aarhus, Denmark, are an alternative rock band whose sound moves between metal, shoegaze and progressive tones. Their dynamic songwriting ranges from atmospheric and vulnerable to brutal and grandiose. Frontman Frej’s vocals are a key part of their sound, shifting from deep growls and brutal screams to high, melodic vocal lines. Together, the band create an intense, emotionally charged sound that refuses to stay within a single genre. PERMANOIA have already made a strong impression on the Danish metal scene. In 2026, they played at Copenhell, among other festivals, as well as Gallows Metal Festival and Copenhagen Metal Fest, and supported Danish rock legends Magtens Korridorer and D-A-D. SENTI are one of the most exciting new names on the Norwegian metal scene. With roots in Finnmark and Oslo, the band combine modern metal with atmospheric soundscapes, strong melodies and crushing heaviness. SENTI move between the vulnerable and the brutal, creating an emotionally charged, dynamic sound that continually builds tension. Their debut album What Shape Will You Take explores modern political conflicts and their human consequences, while balancing global perspectives with personal experiences. The band have already made their mark live, including at Inferno Metal Festival. After their 2026 Inferno performance, GAFFA awarded them 5 out of 6 and wrote that Senti “doesn’t take long to convince the reviewer”, highlighting the band’s emotional expression, strong dynamics and atmospheric soundscapes. From Larvik comes MYSTERY, a young and ambitious band with impressive energy and a strong stage presence. Despite having been around for only a short time, they have already supported Slomosa and performed at Midgardsblot Festival. With attitude, a love of playing and tremendous energy on stage, Mystery are a band to keep an eye on. Inspired by bands such as Kvelertak, Oslo Ess, Iron Maiden and Megadeth, they blend hard rock, black metal, punk and thrash metal in what they call Black’n’Roll. Lumsk

One of Norway’s most distinctive folk rock and progressive metal bands is coming to John Dee on Saturday 30 January! Since forming in Trondheim in 1999, Lumsk have created a musical universe of their own, where Norwegian cultural heritage, literature and folk music meet heavy riffs, progressive arrangements and richly atmospheric soundscapes. From their striking debut Åsmund Frægdegjevar, through the Troll and Hamsun interpretations on Det Vilde Kor, to their critically acclaimed comeback “Fremmede Toner” in 2023, Lumsk have established themselves as a band that follows its own path. Lumsk release the album Einsemda on 30 October. On this album, they set poems by Tor Jonsson to music, 75 years after his death. With lyrics about loneliness, longing and feeling like an outsider, the band meets Jonsson’s powerful writing with a sound that is dark, atmospheric and hopeful. Featuring Mari Klingen’s distinctive vocals, haunting violin melodies, heavy riffs and a musical landscape where progressive folk rock and metal merge, Lumsk create a concert experience that goes far beyond the music. This is more than a presentation of a new album: it is an evening where poetry, history and music meet in one of Norway’s most distinctive musical universes. Lumsk are a band to experience live. Since their comeback, their concerts have been met with an enthusiastic response, combining intensity, atmosphere and emotional weight. + special guest: John Stenersen John Stenersen is best known from Wardruna, but has also played with Gåte and been a driving force behind Bergtatt. After 15 years of work on his own solo project, it was finally launched at Midgardsblot in summer 2026. The music is built around the nøkkelharpe, a traditional Norwegian keyed fiddle, which Stenersen places in a dark and mysterious soundscape. Using traditional Nordic instruments and powerful percussion, he creates an organic sound that takes listeners back to bygone times. Tickets: NOK 385 + booking fee. 18+ event. Valid physical ID required. No guardian scheme. Valid ID includes a physical national ID card, passport, physical driving licence or bank card with a photo. Digital ID (digital driving licence or BankID) and photos of ID are not accepted. This event has standing room only. Doors open at 19:00. The event starts approximately one hour after doors open. Trueandtrue + Merit (SE) + Tolerance // Vaterland

TrueandTrue + Merit (SE) + Tolerance Vaterland Lørdag 30. januar 20:00 // 250 (+avg) // 20år --------------------------------- --------------------------------- TRUEANDTRUE combines hardcore, post-punk and screamo into a uncompromising, energetic and chaotic sound. The band has received national and international recognition from media including Stereogum, Dagsavisen, Distorted Sound and NRK P3. Their debut album NOSEDIVE is an intense and unpredictable collection of songs that shows why they are considered one of the most exciting bands on the Norwegian underground scene. --------------------------------- “If social collapse were the conductor, MERIT would be the orchestra.” This sludge-influenced hardcore quartet from Stockholm formed in 2023. Drawing inspiration from mathcore, death metal, noise rock, hardcore—and everything in between—MERIT has had a clear goal from the beginning: to distil the hellish landscape of modern society into a genre-crossing and relentless sonic assault. --------------------------------- TOLERANCE from Horten formed in 2022 and has since grown into one of the most exciting emerging bands in modern metallic hardcore. Their sound shifts between crushing heaviness, chaos and melodic breaks, delivered with precision and deep emotional commitment. The result is brutal, unpredictable and utterly unconcerned with genre gatekeepers. Noise, energy and sheer ferocity take the lead. This sound dominates the band’s latest EP, “Everything Hurts”, but comes across even better live, where the band makes huge strides between every performance. If you’re not hooked yet, this is your chance to get in early and earn bragging rights for the future. --------------------------------- Vaterlandoslo.no Ticketmaster.no
