The Black Dahlia Murder celebrates the 20th anniversary of the classic album Nocturnal, and comes to John Dee on fredag 22. januar with the Two Decades of Nocturnal – Europe 2027 tour!
Since forming in Michigan in 2001, The Black Dahlia Murder have been among the most prominent names in melodic death metal. With their uncompromising combination of extreme intensity, technical precision and strong melodies, the band have built a loyal fanbase around the world.
When Nocturnal was released in 2007, the album cemented the band’s position as one of the leading acts in modern melodic death metal. Featuring songs such as “What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse”, “Everything Went Black” and “Deathmask Divine”, the album is still regarded as one of the genre’s great classics.
Following Trevor Strnad’s death in 2022, founding member Brian Eschbach took over as vocalist. Together with the rest of the band, he has led The Black Dahlia Murder into a new era while keeping Strnad’s legacy at its heart.
We’re very excited to experience one of the band’s most iconic albums live!
