ECLIPSE (SE), CHEZ KANE (UK) AND THE THEANDER EXPRESSION (SE) – THREE BANDS, ONE BIG ROCK PARTY!
On Friday 8. januar 2027 at 19.00, Runway Rock Fest invites you to a spectacular kickoff at Vulkan Arena in Oslo! With three international rock acts on stage, fantastic live music and an extra-special birthday celebration, everything is set for an unforgettable start to the rock year 2027! Runway Rock Fest takes place at Starmoen in Elverum on 21.–22. mai 2027, but already in January we’re bringing rock fans together for a proper party!
ECLIPSE (SE) – WORLD-CLASS MELODIC HARD ROCK! Swedish band Eclipse have established themselves as one of Europe’s leading melodic hard rock acts. Fronted by Erik Mårtensson, the band delivers massive guitar riffs, strong melodies and huge choruses. With over 100 million streams and appearances at festivals such as Wacken, Graspop and Sweden Rock Festival, Eclipse are known for their explosive live shows and infectious passion for performing.
CHEZ KANE (UK) – 80S ROCK IS ALIVE! British artist Chez Kane has taken the melodic rock world by storm! With a powerful voice, catchy choruses and a sound inspired by the golden age of 80s rock, she has become a favourite among classic hard rock fans. Expect great energy, strong melodies and genuine rock’n’roll!
THE THEANDER EXPRESSION (SE) – AOR AT ITS BEST! Swedish band The Theander Expression, led by guitarist and songwriter Andrée Theander, deliver first-class melodic rock and classic AOR. With strong songs, exquisite guitar playing and a sound that oozes quality, this will be a musical treat for everyone who loves melodic rock!
WE’RE CELEBRATING FESTIVAL DIRECTOR TRULS – 50 YEARS! We have an extra-special reason to raise a glass this evening! Our very own festival director Truls is turning 50, and of course we’re celebrating with a proper rock party! We invite all our rock-loving friends, festival fans and partners to join the celebrations. Come and raise a glass with the guys behind Runway Rock Fest!
