A cooking event led by junior chefs at Biblo Holmlia
Junior chefs from the local neighbourhood prepare and serve healthy, delicious dinners!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the junior chefs cook tasty dishes for everyone at Biblo! Food will be served from around 17:00.
The junior chefs plan, prepare, cook and serve food for children and young people at Deichman Biblo Holmlia and Deichman Mortensrud. They were offered help applying for the jobs through a job-seeking course at the library, and learned all their kitchen skills on Geitmyra’s cooking course at Vulkan.
The heart of Biblo Holmlia is the kitchen—a wonderful place to get to know one another AND discover food from around the world! Salty, sweet, spicy, sour and umami—come and fill your stomach with taste explosions of a whole new dimension.

Please note: Biblo Holmlia is only for children in grades 5–8.
