A cooking event led by young local chefs
Junior chefs from the neighbourhood make and serve healthy, delicious dinners!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Junior Chefs make tasty dishes for everyone at Biblo! Food will be served from around 17:00.
The Junior Chefs plan, prepare, cook and serve food for children and young people at Deichman Biblo Holmlia and Deichman Mortensrud. The young people were offered help applying for the jobs through a job application course at the library, and learned all their kitchen skills on Geitmyra’s cooking course at Vulkan.
The heart of Biblo Holmlia is the kitchen, a wonderful place to get to know one another AND discover food from all over the world! Salty, sweet, spicy, sour and umami—come and fill your stomach with flavour explosions of a whole new dimension.

NB: Biblo Holmlia is only for those in grades 5–8.
