The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
A Hunger Games prequel about Haymitch Abernathy
SUNRISE ON THE REAPING is the latest prequel in the Hunger Games saga. It takes place 24 years before the events of Katniss Everdeen’s original trilogy, around four decades after the most recent story, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The story follows the fateful year when Haymitch Abernathy, the future mentor of Katniss and Peeta, is chosen to compete in the Second Quarter Quell, an event that drastically changes the rules of the deadly games. Instead of the usual two tributes from each district, four must be sent, resulting in 48 participants in the arena—the largest number in Panem’s history, twice as many victims and an even lower chance of survival.
Runtime: 2 hours 38 minutes. Age limit: 12 years. 2D, Norwegian subtitles Screen 1
