The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping — film screening
SUNRISE ON THE REAPING is the latest prequel in the Hunger Games saga. It takes place 24 years before the events of Katniss Everdeen’s original trilogy, around four decades after the story of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The story centres on the fateful year when Haymitch Abernathy, the future mentor to Katniss and Peeta, is selected to compete in the second Quarter Quell, an event that drastically changes the rules of the Hunger Games. Instead of the usual two tributes from each district, each district must send four, bringing the total to 48 participants in the arena—the largest number in Panem’s history, twice as many victims and an even lower chance of survival.
Length: 2 hours 38 min. Age limit: 12 years. 4DX 2D, English audio, Norwegian subtitles. Screen 2.
