Litterært pusterom
Litterært pusterom — a relaxed shared-reading circle
Join a reading circle where you don’t need to read anything in advance!
This way of sharing reading is called shared reading and was inspired by a practice from England, where several hundred groups meet every week to read together. Each time, we read a new short story and a new poem.
What we read is a surprise. We read both classics and new literature. The reading leader chooses the text in advance and reads it aloud. We pause along the way to talk about what we’ve read.
You’re welcome simply to listen to the conversation, and you don’t have to say anything to take part. You don’t need to know anything about literature or have read a lot before, either. Come as you are.
The reading circle meets every other Tuesday at 19:00 (even-numbered weeks). There are ten places, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you have any questions about the reading circle, contact the reading leader Mari Vannes at [email protected].
Welcome!
