Litterært pusterom — a relaxed shared reading group

Date Tuesday 10. November
Time 19:00 - 20:30

Join a reading group where you don’t need to read anything in advance!

This way of sharing reading is called shared reading and is inspired by a practice from England, where hundreds of groups meet every week to read together. Each time, we read a new short story and a new poem.

What we read is a surprise. We read both classics and new literature. The group leader chooses the text in advance and reads it aloud. We pause as we read and talk about what we’ve read.

You’re welcome just to listen to the conversation, and you don’t have to say anything to take part. You don’t need to know anything about literature or have read much before, either. Just come as you are.

The reading group meets every other Tuesday at 19:00 (on even-numbered weeks). There are ten places, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have any questions about the reading group, contact group leader Mari Vannes at [email protected].

Welcome!
