Litterært pusterom — a relaxed shared-reading group

Date Tuesday 24. November
Time 19:00 - 20:30

Join a reading group where you don’t need to read anything in advance!

This way of sharing reading is called shared reading and was inspired by a practice from England, where several hundred groups meet each week to read together. Each time, we read a new short story and a new poem.

What we read is a surprise. We read both classics and new literature. The reading leader has chosen the text in advance and reads it aloud. We pause as we read and talk about what we’ve read.

You’re welcome to just listen to the conversation, and you don’t have to say anything to take part. You don’t need to know anything about literature or have read much before, either. Come as you are.

The reading group meets every other Tuesday at 19 (even-numbered weeks). There are ten places, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have questions about the reading group, contact the reading leader, Mari Vannes, at [email protected].

Welcome!
