Would you like to learn more about using a sewing machine and basic sewing techniques?

This is a beginner course in basic sewing skills, with a focus on how the sewing machine works. Topics include stitch length and width, threading the upper and lower threads, stitch tension, sewing machine feet and accessories, sewing machine needles and thread, sewing curves and angles, and sewing in a simple zip.

The course day ends with participants choosing a sewing kit and making it into a project, with guidance and an instructional video. Alternatively, you can bring your own project for guidance.
