Would you like to learn more about using a sewing machine and basic sewing techniques?

This beginner course covers basic sewing skills, with a focus on how the sewing machine works. Topics include stitch length and width, threading the upper and lower threads, thread tension, presser feet and other sewing machine accessories, sewing machine needles and thread, sewing curves and corners, and inserting a simple zipper.

The course day ends with participants choosing a sewing kit and making it into a project, with guidance and an instructional video. Alternatively, you can bring your own project and get guidance on it.
