Oppsal brett & spill

Come as you are. Bring a friend. We have the games!

Oppsal brett & spill is a welcoming meetup for anyone curious about modern board games—whether you have never played anything beyond Ludo or have shelves full of games at home.

At each meetup, we play one game together, so everyone learns the rules at the same time and no one is left on the sidelines. We choose games that are accessible, fun and easy to get started with, but have enough depth to keep everyone around the table engaged. The event is free.

It helps to know roughly how many people are coming so we can bring enough games. That’s why it’s helpful to join on Spond and let us know if you’re planning to attend. See the link to Spond below. You’ll also find a link there with information about the club. The page has an overview of the autumn’s board games.

Oppsal brett & spill is a collaboration between Oppsal Frivilligsentral and Deichman Oppsal. The activity takes place during the library’s extended-access hours. Library users over 15 have automatic access to the extended hours, but you need to download Oslonøkkelen, the app used to open the library door. Need help downloading the app beforehand? Contact library staff during staffed hours and they’ll help you.

Venue: Deichman Oppsal, Vetlandsveien 99-101, 0685 Oslo
