Oppsal brett & spill — a welcoming modern board game meetup
Come as you are. Bring a friend. We have the games!
Oppsal brett & spill is an easy-going meeting place for anyone curious about modern board games—whether you have never played anything beyond Ludo or have shelves full of games at home.
At each meetup, we play one game together so everyone can learn the rules at the same time and no one is left on the sidelines. We choose games that are accessible, fun and easy to get started with, but with enough depth to keep everyone around the table engaged. The event is free.
It helps to know roughly how many people are coming so we can bring enough games. We’d therefore appreciate it if you join on Spond and let us know if you plan to attend. See the Spond link below. There you’ll also find a link with information about the club. The page has an overview of the autumn’s board games.
Oppsal brett & spill is a collaboration between Oppsal Frivilligsentral and Deichman Oppsal. The activity takes place during the library’s extended access hours. Borrowers over 15 automatically have access during these hours, but you need to download Oslonøkkelen, the app used to open the library door. Need help downloading the app beforehand? Ask the library staff during staffed hours and they’ll help you.
