Oppsal brett & spill

Come as you are. Bring a friend. We have the games!

Oppsal brett & spill is a welcoming, informal meetup for anyone curious about modern board games—whether you’ve never played anything beyond Ludo or have shelves full of games at home.

At each meetup, we play one game together, so everyone learns the rules at the same time and no one is left sitting on the sidelines. We choose games that are accessible, fun and easy to get started with, but with enough depth to keep everyone around the table engaged. The event is free.

It helps to know roughly how many people are coming, so we can bring enough games. That’s why it’s great if you join on Spond and let us know if you plan to attend. See the Spond link below. You’ll also find a link there with information about the club. The page includes an overview of the autumn’s board games.

Oppsal brett & spill is a collaboration between Oppsal Frivilligsentral and Deichman Oppsal. The activity takes place during the library’s unstaffed open-access hours. Borrowers over 15 have automatic access during these hours, but you need to download the Oslonøkkelen app to open the library door. Need help downloading the app beforehand? Ask the library staff during staffed hours, and they’ll help you.
