C.O.F.F.I.N. - Two Nights Out in Oslo. Vaterland 26. & 27. November Support: TBA NOTE! Choose between three ticket options: Thursday, Friday, or both days with a screening of a brand-new documentary film. On sale 4. June 10:00 via Ticketmaster.no ——————————————— ——————————————— C.O.F.F.I.N, aka Children of Finland Fighting In Norway, have made their mark on the international underground as authentic, high-octane Australian rock! Like many of their predecessors from “down under”, this crew isn’t here to lie around with spiders. They’re here to smash, rampage, tear things down and build them back up, then tear them down again… and again! When they come to the local pizza joint in Brugata, they’ll be bringing a new album and a brand-new documentary film. The freshly made documentary follows the life of a genuine, hard-working, hyper-intense rock band and has been given what, from our perspective, is the particularly fitting title “10 000 Miles From Oslo”. Special occasions call for special celebrations, so we’ve gone ahead and made the band do a little two-day residency at Vaterland in November. You’ll be able to choose from three different ticket options to suit your needs: 1. a single ticket for Thursday 26. November, 2. a single ticket for 27. November, or 3. a double-rocker ticket for both days, plus a documentary screening and Q & A included free of charge. Please note: the documentary screening is ONLY available to those who buy a ticket for both days. Okay, two days, two concerts, one film screening and one Q & A! Since forming in 2005, the band have carried Australia’s proud rock tradition into the 2000s with their own mix of boogie, blues, proto-punk and early hardcore. Their lineage runs straight through the band, from Coloured balls to The Angels and AC/DC, as they explore themes of identity, community, environmental activism and Australia’s connection to the rest of the world. C.O.F.F.I.N. have shared stages with and earned their place alongside artists such as Amyl and The sniffers, Viagra Boys and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. They have played festivals around the globe and won awards for best rock album in their home country’s equivalent of the Grammys. Perhaps most importantly, though, they have been constantly on the road for over 20 years, helping shape what is now one of Australia’s most respected contemporary rock ’n roll bands. This is going to be sweatier than Bondi Beach, folks!
