The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping — film screening in Oslo
SUNRISE ON THE REAPING is the latest prequel in the Hunger Games saga. It is set 24 years before the events of Katniss Everdeen’s original trilogy, placing it roughly four decades after the latest story, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The story follows the fateful year when Haymitch Abernathy, the future mentor to Katniss and Peeta, is selected to compete in the second Quarter Quell, an event that drastically changes the rules of the deadly Games. Instead of the usual two tributes from each district, each district must send four, resulting in 48 participants in the arena—the largest number in Panem’s history, twice as many victims, and an even smaller chance of survival.
Duration: 2 hours 38 min. Age rating: 12 years. 2D, English audio, Norwegian subtitles. Screen 1.
