Suser avgårde
Suser avgårde — Norwegian-language film screening
In «Suser avgårde», we follow four friends in their late twenties as they experience various existential crises over the course of a year, as they navigate the transition to adulthood. Agnes is in the midst of the deepest crisis of all. She is hooked on her on-and-off ex, Daniel, even though he runs away whenever things start to get serious. Now Daniel is back from Berlin — has he finally changed? «Suser avgårde» is a funny and uncompromisingly honest portrait of a generation. The story is inspired by deLillos’ lyrical world, and a number of young artists have recorded cover versions of classic deLillos songs especially for the film’s soundtrack. The screenplay is by Rakel Kraft Biørnstad, and the film is directed by Rikke Gregersen («Rekviem for Selina»). The group of friends is portrayed by some of the country’s most promising young actors: Sarah Francesca Brænne, Steinar Klouman Hallert, Ada Eide and Fredrik Stenberg Ditlev-Simonsen. Produced by Ingvil Sæther Berger/Motlys.
Length: 1 hour 45 minutes. Age limit: 9 years. 2D, Norwegian dialogue, Norwegian subtitles. Hall 5.
