Welcome to a creative and welcoming sewing evening every other Monday this autumn at Folkeverkstedet✂️

This is an open, informal sewing workshop for anyone who enjoys sewing, whether you’re working on a pattern-based project, upcycling or another sewing-related project. Meet like-minded people, find inspiration and share experiences in a social, creative community. This isn’t a course, but a place to work independently in a friendly setting. Think of it as our take on a modern sewing circle: a lovely mix of conversation, laughter and sewing.

Bring your own sewing project — it could be a garment you’re making from a pattern or an upcycling project. Folkeverkstedet has sewing machines and equipment such as scissors and thread available.

We’re happy to share tips and help each other with small challenges along the way, but the main focus is a social and inspiring evening of sewing. There’s always an experienced sewist on hand to help with the machine and other sewing equipment.
