Solan og Ludvig – Jul i Flåklypa

Flåklypa faces fierce forces of nature when Reodor Felgen invents a snow cannon.

Christmas is approaching, and more than anything, Ludvig wants snow. That is why inventor Reodor Felgen sets out to build the world’s most powerful snow cannon. But soon the invention ends up in the hands of Flåklypa Tidende’s editor, Frimand Pløsen, who has other plans. Solan and Ludvig must put things right. Meanwhile, Reodor has disappeared, and outside, a snowstorm is growing ever worse. Tampering with nature is dangerous, after all.

The film is a classic stop-motion puppet film, with all the sets, props and figures made by hand. Only the snow is computer-animated. The film is based on Kjell Aukrust’s universe and the book Solan og Ludvigs jul by Harald Sommerin Simonnæs.
