Master

Jahir is the perfect teacher, husband and father. He is elected to political office with good intentions. But expectations place him under pressure; the role quickly becomes overwhelming, and his moral compass begins to falter. When a proposal to turn a slum into a luxury resort comes up, he is also influenced by bureaucrats and lobbyists with interests of their own. His once-altruistic vision soon becomes a struggle for power, and the community hero turns into a feared authoritarian leader.
