Litterært pusterom

Litterært pusterom (a relaxed shared-reading group)

Date Wednesday 16. December
Time 17:30 - 19:00

Join a reading group where you don’t need to read anything in advance.

Do you enjoy a good piece of writing? Would you like to spend some time with others and perhaps share a few thoughts? Come along to Litterært pusterom, a reading group with no requirements. This way of sharing reading is called shared reading and was inspired by a practice in England. There, several hundred groups meet every week to read together.

Each week, we read a new short story and a new poem. What we read is a surprise. We read both classics and contemporary literature. The reading group leader chooses the texts in advance and reads them aloud. We pause as we read and talk about what we’ve read.

You’re welcome to simply listen to the conversation, and you don’t have to say anything to take part. You don’t need to know anything about literature or have read much before, either. Just come as you are.

There are ten places, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Welcome!

Venue: Deichman Bjørvika, Anne-Cath. Vestlys plass 1, 0150 Oslo
