Gubben og katten og nissemaskinen

An animated classic about the dynamic duo Gubben and katten, based on the children’s book series by award-winning author Sven Nordqvist.

Christmas is approaching for the two good friends Pettersen (Gubben) and Findus (the cat). Gubben isn’t sure whether Santa Claus exists, but he still promises the cat that Santa will come to visit. To keep the cat from being disappointed, he secretly decides to build a Santa who can both talk and move. In the weeks before Christmas, strange things happen on the farm. And on Christmas Eve? Santa arrives, just as the cat wished! Gubben had never dreamed in his wildest imagination that the Santa machine would work so well! … Or perhaps it wasn’t the Santa machine?
