After the film, cinematographer Benjamin Loeb will join Vega Scene’s head of programming, Truls Foss, for a conversation.
Zi has a brain tumour and is haunted by visions of her own future. When she meets a stranger, they explore Hong Kong together through the night, before Zi must face the fate awaiting her the following morning.
Zi premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2026. It is a beautiful, dreamlike film about life, death and the fleeting moments in between.
