Valter Nilsson

Valter Nilsson comes to Rockefeller on 10. desember! Few artists are attracting more attention in Sweden right now. His career has taken off over the past year, and he is selling out shows all across the border. He recently played a celebrated concert at Bananpiren in his hometown of Göteborg, where 12.000 tickets sold out in just a few days.

He had more or less given up on his pop dreams and had just qualified as a naval officer when, after many twists and turns, his music career suddenly took off with the album *Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända* in 2025. Valter left English behind in favour of Swedish, presenting soul-inspired rock’n’roll filled with down-to-earth stories, social engagement and a healthy dose of humour.

On his new album *Högsbo Riviera*, he develops his sound further and expands it with brass and strings, with appreciative nods to both Håkan Hellström and Bruce Springsteen.

Here in Oslo, he sold out Salt in April, and this winter Valter Nilsson finally comes to Rockefeller!
