Fixation are playing their only concert in Oslo this year. Expect a packed, sweaty and intimate show. The award-winning Norwegian metalcore sensation Fixation emerged in 2020 with their explosive debut EP, Global Suicide. Since then, they have carved out a unique place in heavy music, blending raw intensity with catchy melodies and a powerful sound. Their latest release, Speak in Tongues, marks a new high point in their groundbreaking career.

In 2024, Fixation made history by winning “Breakthrough of the Year” at Musikkforleggerprisen, and were also nominated for Song of the Year for “Ignore the Disarray”. These historic accolades are remarkable, as no metal band had previously been nominated for or won these awards. The Breakthrough of the Year award followed the band’s rapid growth, establishing them as one of the genre’s most promising newcomers.

In 2023, they released their debut album and performed at more than 60 international shows with artists including Devin Townsend, Imminence and Annisokay. Their dynamic live performances have earned them spots at some of Europe’s leading festivals, including Tons of Rock, The Great Escape, Summer Breeze Open Air, Tuska, Masters of Rock, Eurosonic and Download Festival. Inspired by bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Muse, their music speaks to a wide audience and transcends genre boundaries. With a distinctive sound, relatable lyrics and an exciting trajectory, Fixation are set to make a lasting mark on the rock and metal scene.
