Tukki, From the Roots to the Bayou

The film does more than trace the legacy of African musical and cultural traditions across the global diaspora. It brings together voices from both sides of the Atlantic, opening new dialogues about jazz, spirituality and food traditions. Through interviews with academics, musicians and cultural workers, it uncovers the roots of jazz and its deep, often overlooked connection to African music and culture.
