tigerstate

tigerstate has established itself as one of Norway’s best and most reliable live bands. Now they’re releasing a new album.

The band has spent the past few years completing brand-new material in the studio, and they’ll celebrate with a release concert at Parkteatret this November evening.

Expect disco in three languages from Norway’s coolest dance band. One thing is certain: tigerstate always brings a great atmosphere. This is a concert you won’t want to miss.

tigerstate is an Oslo-based band collective made up of a group of friends who came together during the pandemic. What started as a shared project has led to a number of releases and albums on their own label, Tigerstate Records, as well as festival appearances across Norway and abroad.

Most Likely Marlin is the friend who always pulls you into something foolish, beautiful and life-changing. On 27 November, she’ll warm up for Tigerstate at Parkteateret. Her music is as emotion-driven as the life she sings about: energetic, honest, chaotic and impossible to ignore.

With guitar-driven indie music, quirky electronic details and restless energy that always threatens to tip into a full emotional meltdown, she moves somewhere between indie, hyperpop and alt.pop. The result is both organic and explosive — as if Phoebe Bridgers had drunk 13 Red Bulls.
