The American rock band The Wallflowers are coming to Oslo and Rockefeller on 11 November to perform their critically acclaimed album Bringing Down the Horse, as well as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ album Long After Dark! Both albums will be played from start to finish this evening.
This tour marks the first time the band has performed Bringing Down the Horse in its entirety, celebrating the album’s 30th anniversary. Audiences across Europe can look forward to a truly unique concert experience.

Bringing Down the Horse (1996) is a defining album of its time. It sold more than four million copies worldwide and gave us four major hits: “One Headlight”, “The Difference”, “Three Marlenas” and “6th Avenue Heartache”.
At the 1998 Grammy Awards, The Wallflowers won “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group”, while “One Headlight” was named “Best Rock Song”. The album’s tremendous success laid the foundation for a career that now spans more than three decades.
Long After Dark (1982) by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers is considered by many to be one of the band’s very best albums. Jakob Dylan has long admired Petty and the band, and was personally invited by Tom Petty to introduce him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
