A documentary about the historic football match between Argentina and England in 1986.
The match was more than a landmark in sporting history. The Falklands/Malvinas War of 1982 was still fresh in the memory of both countries, giving the quarter-final a politically charged dimension. It was also the match in which Diego Maradona scored his famous «Hand of God» goal. Through archival footage and interviews with players from both sides, the film tells the emotional story of a match that was much more than «just a football match».
