The Dire Straits Experience

The Dire Straits Experience comes to Sentrum Scene lørdag 16. oktober 2027 to celebrate one of the greatest bands in rock history!

Fronted by original member Chris White and six world-class musicians, the band delivers a dazzling live show packed with classics such as «Sultans of Swing», «Money for Nothing», «Private Investigations» and many more.

Dire Straits played their final concerts in 1995, and for millions of fans it felt like the end of an era. Yet the timeless songs never stopped captivating audiences. Now The Dire Straits Experience brings the music back to life with full force.

Celebrated around the world as the closest you will ever get to the original, The Dire Straits Experience recreates the magic with impressive authenticity. Chris White himself says that Terence Reis is the only artist who can match Mark Knopfler’s vocal and guitar skills—and that’s a statement from someone who really knows.

The musicians in The Dire Straits Experience have played with legends including Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner and Mike Oldfield.

«From the first note that leaves his lips, from the first caress of his fingers across the guitar strings, you know he is doing the impossible. Terence Reis brings Dire Straits completely back.» – Cultuurselect

«By now it was clear that this would be an evening of music performed with the precision of a Swiss watch, with palpable joy, intensity, and virtuosity (…) The Dire Straits Experience is rock solid.» – Rootstime
