The Dahmers + Spiders

The Swedish rock bands The Dahmers and Spiders are heading out on a joint tour and will come to John Dee on Thursday 19 November!

The Dahmers: In a swirling hurricane of punk energy, lightning-fast guitar riffs and brilliant pop melodies, The Dahmers burrow deep into your consciousness like a leech. By blending a range of musical influences with horror aesthetics, the band has created a distinctive style and a sound full of personality. They are currently promoting their third album, Creature Feature.

The Dahmers are as well known for their strong songs as for their explosive, energetic live shows. Their fan base has grown considerably in recent years, especially in the USA, where—along with Sweden—their music has its highest streaming numbers.

Spiders: Spiders formed in 2012 and released their debut album, Flash Point, that same year, followed by Shake Electric in 2014 and Killer Machine in 2018. Alongside their album releases, the band has toured countless times, playing rock clubs and festival stages across Europe and the USA.

They are now promoting their album Sharp Objects, released last year. As always with Spiders, both the record and their universe are firmly rooted in rock’n’roll. This time, a touch of new wave and early-’80s-style garage rock has also found its way into the mix.
