Mend a hole or sew something completely new with help from an instructor.

Are your trousers too long? Is a button missing or the zip broken? Is there a hole in your pocket, or are your trousers worn out? Do you need reflective tape on your jacket? Would you like to make a patchwork quilt for a picnic? Do you need a new makeup bag, pencil case or shopping bag? Perhaps you’d like to make a skirt, trousers or T-shirt. How about an apron and oven mitts for the barbecue season? Would you like to brighten up your sofa with a new cushion? Or make a harness for your dog or cat, a dog bed or a cat cave?

We have sewing machines, an overlocker, thread, an iron, some patterns and a little fabric.

Feel free to bring your own fabric and thread if you have a larger project you’d like to work on.

You can get help with designing or finding a pattern, planning your next sewing project, or simply have someone to sew alongside. Beginners and experienced sewers are both welcome.
