Suser avgårde
Suser avgårde — Norwegian film screening
In «Suser avgårde», we follow four friends in their late twenties as they experience various existential crises over the course of a year, as they approach adulthood. Agnes’s crisis is particularly deep. She is hooked on her on-again, off-again ex, Daniel, even though he runs away whenever he senses things are getting serious. Now Daniel is back from Berlin — has he finally changed? «Suser avgårde» is a funny and uncompromisingly honest portrait of a generation. The story is inspired by the lyrical universe of deLillos, and a number of young artists have recorded cover versions of classic deLillos songs especially for the film’s soundtrack. The screenplay is by Rakel Kraft Biørnstad, and the film is directed by Rikke Gregersen («Rekviem for Selina»). The group of friends is portrayed by some of the country’s most promising young actors: Sarah Francesca Brænne, Steinar Klouman Hallert, Ada Eide and Fredrik Stenberg Ditlev-Simonsen. Produced by Ingvil Sæther Berger/Motlys
