Susanne Sundfør

Susanne Sundfør invites the audience into a new musical landscape. Featuring songs from throughout her career, reimagined for the occasion with bluegrass and country influences, alongside some of Norway’s finest musicians on stage.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with some of Norway’s best musicians this summer and autumn, dressing my music in a new country style. There’ll be good old-fashioned bluegrass, as well as touches of country, with plenty of inspiration from icons Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss.” – Susanne Sundfør

For more than two decades, Susanne Sundfør has established herself as one of Norway’s most acclaimed and artistically uncompromising artists. Her career has been marked by a rare willingness to challenge her own sound, explore new musical directions and continually find new paths into her own world of songs.

On this tour, the audience will experience just that. Familiar and much-loved songs are given new life through fresh harmonies, acoustic strings and a musical kinship with the American folk and country tradition. For Sundfør’s many fans, this is a unique opportunity to rediscover the songs through an artist who still refuses to stand still.
