SEX JUDAS FEAT. RICKY - RINGER JULEN INN PÅ KAFÈ HÆRVERK - FREDAG 18. DESEMBER

SEX JUDAS FEAT. RICKY The seven-piece band Sex Judas feat. Ricky always turns Hærverk upside down with its frenetic mix of afrobeat, disco, psychedelic rock and electronica, and we expect nothing less when they ring in Christmas on 18. desember. With roots in Oslo, Mali, the USA and Finland, and many musical collaborations and an enduring willingness to turn things around musically, they have created a universe of their own—both artistic and highly danceable. The orchestra is led by the mysterious frontman Sex Judas, the alter ego of musician Tore «Ost» Gjedrem, and flanked by a stellar team from Oslo’s musical underground. Featuring Kristian Edvardsen on bass, Tracee Meyn on vocals, Sidiki Camara on djembes, Tore Brevik on percussion, Ivar Winther on guitar and Linn Nystadnes on vocals. They won a Spellemann in the electronica category in 2019 for the album «Go Down Judas». In 2024, they released the double album «The Book of Dreams / After Sex», followed by a few remixes that have set dance floors alight around the world—not least our own Olefonken’s fantastic remix of the track «Talking Dogs». Rumour has it they are now working on two new albums, including Ricky’s debut album, which will hopefully see the light of day in 2027. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a few sneak peeks on this pre-Christmas night at Hærverk! Admission: 300,-+avgift Doors: 20:00 Concert starts: 21:00 ID: 20
