Scent of Pho
A family story about a Vietnamese pho restaurant
When the owner of the neighbouring restaurant dies, Mui has to look inward. He needs an heir to take over the pho shop, but his son is more interested in his terrible paintings. His son-in-law, on the other hand, is interested, but Mui feels he is not close enough family to take over such an important family business. So he chooses his grandson, who is passionate about cooking. The problem is that the boy’s mother is planning to move south with the whole family and has no interest in staying behind just for the pho shop.
