Sangen fra skogene
Documentary film
A strikingly beautiful documentary about life in the forest. As a young boy, director Vincent Munier learned to appreciate nature from his father. Now Vincent’s son is the same age, and the three generations venture into the dense forests of France to experience birds, deer and lynx up close. The grandfather’s absolute favourite is the capercaillie, a bird that has now disappeared from the forests of France. To give his grandson the chance to experience this remarkable bird, they travel to Norway. Sangen fra skogene is an exceptionally beautiful film, imbued with calm and wonder. It reminds us of the joy nature brings and how important it is that we take care of it. Vincent Munier is one of the world’s leading wildlife photographers. With his camera, he captures moments few people get to experience, and makes them accessible to everyone.
