Samtidsmusikkpub #22 - Marco Slaviero

We continue the autumn pub season with an exciting concert: Marco Slaviero performs music by Olivia Køppe, James Layton and others on 22 November!

Info: Marco Slaviero is an Italian performer and audio-visual artist based in Oslo. Although classically trained, his current work focuses on contemporary and avant-garde music as guitarist and performer. Over the past years, his practice as a classical musician has been affected by tendinitis, making experimentation with new techniques and equipment essential in navigating a period of uncertainty. By incorporating electronics, improvisation, and interdisciplinary elements into his practice, Marco’s artistic work explores alternative paths for an injured musician, rethinking artistic identity while engaging with the fragility and vulnerability inherent in performance. This concert will see the premiere of a new piece by Olivia Køppe and the first version of a work by James Layton, together with music by G. Gobeil, J. Malaussena and E. Bates. Photo: Marco Slaviero
