Pubkor – Julespesial på Rockefeller

Imagine the massive sound of thousands of voices singing together—for the first time at Rockefeller! Norway’s Pubkor conductor Vetle Gjevestad Agledahl invites you to a truly unique pre-Christmas evening on Wednesday 9 December.

This is not an ordinary concert—the audience creates the experience. Thousands of strangers become one giant Christmas choir, raising the roof and bringing goosebumps and festive cheer, with a few surprises along the way! It’s a perfect chance to get friends, family or colleagues together for a social evening in the run-up to Christmas.

Everyone is welcome in Pubkoret, from shower singers to experienced choir members. There are no auditions, requirements or commitments—just the joy of singing and thousands of voices coming together.

In recent years, the Pubkor concept has grown from a few hundred keen singers at the cultural venue Carls into a nationwide phenomenon. Nearly 30,000 people have already taken part in Pubkoret, which has also sold out Sentrum Scene twice, set a European record with 2,500 singers at Bislett Stadion, and is now inviting you to its very first Christmas special at Rockefeller.

The evening is led by Pubkoret’s regular conductor, Vetle Gjevestad Agledahl, and promises warmth, humour and big musical moments.

Bring someone you know—or come alone and become part of the community.

This is an evening you won’t want to miss!
