Oslo Ess

In 2026, Oslo Ess are once again playing pre-Christmas concerts at Rockefeller! The combination of an acoustic concert early in the evening and full-throttle rock in the late-night hours is one of the highlights of the year for both the band and the audience.

As the nights grow longer and autumn’s dark veil settles over the old country, the spotlight comes on in dim basements, tidy cultural centres and rowdy rock pubs. Across mountains, through valleys, along the sea, fjords, farmland and dense forests. Polished punk and ragged ballads with lyrics about naïve love, hopeless romance, neuroses and a utopian America.

With seven studio albums, an unknown number of radio singles and thousands of concerts across the country, it’s almost impossible not to know the sound of these gutter charmers, who have kicked down doors, smashed windows and melted hearts across the country since their breakthrough in 2010.
