Osa & Prior to the Fire // Jubileumskonsert - Kampen Bistro 25 år!

We’re looking forward to El Caco frontman Øyvind Osa bringing his indie band to Kampen Bistro! Since forming in 1998, El Caco has left a lasting mark on Norwegian rock history. But Øyvind has always wanted to make other kinds of music that didn’t necessarily suit his old passion project. That’s why he established himself as a solo artist under the name Osa & Prior to the Fire, whose sound is best described as a lively mix of folk, singer-songwriter music, blues and country.

This time, Øyvind Osa has brought together a group of musicians from Norway’s indie, pop and metal scenes, as well as Swedish folk music. This combination of individuals is partly accidental and partly planned, but the result once again shows what can happen when musicians challenge themselves and step outside their comfort zones. The production is far from what has become the music industry standard and is more reminiscent of how records were made in the late 1960s and early 1970s. We’re looking forward to the anniversary concert at Bøgata on 21 November.
