Ondt Blod

Hardcore and rock in Northern Norwegian

Date Friday 12. February
Time 19:00
  • Tickets available

Since 2013, Ondt Blod from Kirkenes have been delivering big rock and ferocious hardcore in Northern Norwegian. They are currently celebrating their acclaimed new album Bauta, and recently played a sold-out release concert at John Dee. On Friday 12. February 2027, they step up to Rockefeller!

Straight from the gut and straight from the heart. Ondt Blod play furious hardcore and catchy rock in Northern Norwegian. Fueled by Northern Norwegian hell-raising and Sámi pride, the band sing about political oppression, racism and other kinds of shit, as well as proud traditions such as drinking spirits, snowmobiling and resentment towards everything south of Saltfjellet. The crew from Sør-Varanger have earned euphoric reviews and a Spellemann nomination for the albums Finnmark (2016) and Natur (2018), played every corner of Norway, and toured extensively in Europe and Japan.

The band have been playing since 2013 and consists of vocalist Aslak Heika Hætta Bjørn, drummer Håvard Sotkajærvi Rushfeldt, bassist Jørgen Store Johansen, and guitarists Alexander Mortensen and John Nilsen, all from Sør-Varanger in Finnmark.
