Nybegynnerkurs: Moderne plantebroderi — a beginner course in modern botanical embroidery
Welcome to an inspiring beginner embroidery course, where traditional craft meets modern botanical inspiration!
The course gives you a calm, creative break from everyday life. You’ll explore the many possibilities of embroidery in a safe and welcoming environment. No prior experience is needed—anyone can learn to embroider, and many people find needlework a lovely way to unwind and be creative.
The course is led by craft artist Justyna Skowronek (@plants.on.people), who is behind Blomstrende Broderi (PRESS, 2025). She’ll guide participants throughout the course and share techniques, tips and inspiration along the way.
During the course, you’ll learn a range of stitches and techniques for embroidering leaves and flowers. We’ll work with simple patterns to give you a good foundation for creating your own botanical motifs later. You’ll also get useful tips on choosing materials and avoiding common beginner mistakes.
