Novellekafé

Join our reading group, where you don’t need to have read anything in advance.

Do you enjoy literature and want to explore it further with others? You’re warmly welcome to read with the librarians from Deichman Grünerløkka.

Each time, we read a different short story. The choice is a surprise, and we read both classics and new literature. The librarians choose the text in advance and read it aloud. We pause during the reading to talk together about what we’ve read.

You don’t need to know anything about literature or have read a lot before to take part. If you’d rather just listen to the discussion without saying anything yourself, that’s absolutely fine too.

There are eight places available, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We serve coffee, tea and biscuits.

Welcome!
